WhySoMotion is a 2D motion design studio founded by Muneeb Talib. This page explains what we collect on this website and what we do with it, in plain words.
What we collect
- Chat with WSM, our assistant. When you start a chat we ask for your email (and, if you like, your first name). We save that, every message in the chat, the page you started on, the time, and your approximate country as reported by our hosting provider (Cloudflare).
- Contact form, strategy-session pop-up and email. What you send us: your name, email, company website, what you need and your message.
- Videos and bookings. Portfolio videos are YouTube videos that only load when you press play (from youtube-nocookie.com). Booking a call happens on Calendly. Both are run by those companies under their own privacy policies.
- Your theme choice. If you switch between light and dark, your browser remembers it on your device. We don’t receive it.
Why we collect it
Only to answer your questions, prepare a quote and follow up about your video. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t add you to a newsletter unless you ask.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts this website and stores chat records.
- Anthropic provides the AI model that writes WSM’s replies. Your chat messages are sent to it to generate an answer.
- Resend sends us an email alert with your details and first message when you contact us, so we can reply quickly. Our inbox is hosted by Google (Gmail).
- Calendly handles call bookings, and YouTube plays our portfolio videos.
- A real person on our team reads chats so we can follow up properly.
How long we keep it
We keep chats and contact messages while they are useful for working with you. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
