A German-language 2D character story for Physics for Food, a research project that uses plasma and UV light to make food production cleaner and more sustainable.
Plasma seed treatment and UV light are hard research topics. The project needed a warm, simple story that farmers and the public can follow, in German.
A German-language 2D character explainer for Physics for Food, a project funded by Germany’s Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
The video follows farmer Lena as her field becomes a test site: seeds are freed of pathogens with plasma instead of chemicals, plants become more resistant to heat, drought and heavy rain, UV light keeps food fresh for longer, and wastewater is cleaned and reused.
Farmer Lena wants bigger harvests but also cares about nature. Scientist Christian shows her how Physics for Food can help.
The story follows the methods from treated seeds in the field to cleaner air in food production and recycled wastewater.
